I’ve tried many different versions of DIY Deodorant and I found this one the best. It’s all natural and great for the skin. The Beeswax stops it from melting in the summer time.

Antiperspirant and deodorant products are some of the worst offenders when it comes to beauty products. There have been recent reports of links between these products and much higher rates of breast cancer, and doctors report that those who get breast cancer are most likely to get a tumor in the area closest to the armpit. Antiperspirants, by sealing in moisture, are the worst. Besides putting aluminum in your body, they prevent perspiration, which is the body’s natural way to eliminate toxins.

**UPDATE** My husband started using my deodorant and the second day he used it he had a big presentation and was worried about smelling so he took his regular deodorant with him as a back up.  He was super happy to report back to me that he didn’t smell at all and he never had to use his back up.  He said he sweated during the presentation but no smell.  He made me smell his pits at the end of the day and there was literally no smell.  He also puts coconut oil on before the deodorant and he has had no issues of irritation.  His only complaint was he wanted to smell like something, so my next batch i will add a stronger scent for him.

***UPDATE*** I wanted something that wicked the wetness away as some of my friends stated its the wetness thats the problem.  I went on a search to see what I could use and lord be hold I found a solution.  I added 1 Tbsp of Bentonite Clay to my recipe.  I’ve been using it now for 2 weeks and it works.  I stay dry all day long and both my hubby and I found the recipe to be much smoother.
